Our Story

Ankit and Sonal have known each other through common friends since high school days. They met for the first time at a friends birthday party in 2003. Although they had common friends and went to high schools in the same neighborhood, but they never got talking at that time.

Ankit's family moved to canada in 2005. Sonal's family also moved to canada around the same time. However, they weren't destined to meet at that time. Both families were living in different cities in this vast country. Sonal's father got transferred back to India and her family moved back to New Delhi after a few years.

Around this time, social media was gaining a lot of popularity. Ankit and Sonal connected over facebook. Over the years, their interaction was only limited to an occasional greeting.

It was early 2014 when Ankit and Sonal really started talking regularly. With the help of technology, they started bonding with each other. They started skyping with each other almost everyday.

Once Ankit knew Sonal was the one for him; he talked to his parents about her. On the advice of his parents, he decided to go and meet sonal in India. From the first meeting itself they both felt very warm and comfortable with each other. The next step was to get Sonal's parents and Ankit to meet. This was the most nerve racking experience for Ankit and he was so nervous and unsure on starting a conversation with Sonal's parents. Eventually the ice broke over some delicious indian food.

After several interactions between Ankit and Sonal, the approval came from both families. In spite of being an unconventional mode of matching; the bond has only gotten stronger over time between the two.
